“I wanted to take the opportunity and offer up my greatest thanks. This bursary will help ease the stress of paying for my education. Earlier this year I had lost my job due to Covid and had a chance to revaluate what my career would look like after being in the same field for 8 years. I spent countless hours working on getting the appropriate credentials in a 5-month time frame so that I was able to move onto furthering my education. My time at Fanshawe will allow me to achieve the diploma I need in order to become a Pharmacy Technician. This bursary is an investment in someone who plans to give back to their community. Pharmacies have been a pillar in what made up frontline workers during this pandemic. Ensuring their patients’ needs were being adhered to despite the trials and tribulations that this pandemic has ensued on everyone. I look forward to being a part of profession that continues to give back to their communities. So once again from the bottom of my heart thank you for this incredible gift.”
