Indigenous Academic Achievement Award
Two awards are presented annually. Recipient must, at the time of selection:
- be currently enrolled full-time in any program at Fanshawe College
- have maintained a 3.0 GPA (cumulative)
- be active in the Institute of Indigenous Learning and have involvement outside of the college community
- self-identify as First Nation, Non-Status First Nation, Métis, and/or Inuit*
Proof of identification required. For the First Nations students with Indian Status or Inuit awards, a government document will be required. For Metis students, a Metis Nation of Ontario card will be required. For First Nation non-status students, proof of lineage to a First Nation individual with Indian Status will be required.
You must complete the diversity questionnaire on the General Application to be considered. Recipient(s) will be notified by email if selected to receive this award.
