Bob Collins worked at Fanshawe College for 38 years, first as a professor and then Program Co-Ordinator of the broadcast journalism and radio programs.
Impact
The Bob Collins Broadcast Journalist of the Year Award was established to recognize a level 4 Fanshawe Journalism – Multimedia student who demonstrates skills in the classroom, commitment and excellence and must express a strong interest in pursuing a career in Broadcast Journalism.
The Bob Collins Most Promising Journalist Award was established to recognize a level 2 Fanshawe Journalism – Multimedia student who demonstrates enthusiasm for the Broadcasting industry and the ability to overcome challenging journalistic experiences.
