Bell Media Newswriter of the Year Award

One award is presented annually. Recipient must, at the time of selection:

• be a full-time student at Fanshawe College and currently enrolled in Level 4 of the Journalism – Multimedia program
• have maintained a minimum 2.0 GPA (cumulative)
• demonstrate the best newswriting abilities throughout the duration of the program
• submit two original news stories with covering letters and background information detailing how the story originated, the research, questions and follow-up to the story
