The Bob Collins Broadcast Journalist of the Year Award

One award is presented annually. Recipients must, at the time of selection:

• be a full-time student at Fanshawe College and currently enrolled in level 4 of the Journalism – Multimedia program
• have maintained a minimum GPA of 3.0 (cumulative)
• demonstrate a strong interest in pursuing a career in Broadcast Journalism and a commitment to excellence
• submits a resume, 3 course assignments that best reflect their versatility and skills as a journalist
• submits a 500-word essay that speaks to their journalistic excellence in the program and their career aspirations
