G.W. Gedies Leadership Award

Four awards are presented annually. Recipients must, at the time of selection:

• be currently enrolled in the final level of the Motive Power Technician (Automotive),Motive Power Technician (Automotive) Co-op, Motive Power Technician (Diesel) program or Motive Power Technician (Diesel) Co-op program
• attend on a full-time basis
• maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA (cumulative)
• demonstrate a high degree of commitment, cooperation, conduct, respectfulness, teamwork, integrity and enthusiasm for life-long learning
• demonstrate leadership qualities through personal example and acceptance of additional responsibilities in support of the division’s mission/values
