Gender Diversity Rocks IT Award

One award is presented annually. Recipient must, at the time of application:

• be a current student at Fanshawe College and has completed level 2 of a diploma/advanced diploma program or has graduated from a certificate program listed below:
  o Computer Programming and Analysis
  o Computer Systems Technology
  o Computer Systems Technician
  o Cyber Security
  o Game Development – Advanced Programming
  o Health Systems Management
  o Information Security Management
  o Network and Security Architecture
  o Software and Information Systems Testing
  o Web Development and Internet Applications
• have achieved a cumulative Grade Point Average of at least 3.0
• demonstrate a leadership skills in the classroom (i.e. involved in the Girls Rock IT event, Girls Technology Camp etc.)
• self-identify as a woman and/or gender diverse person (in alignment with the Fanshawe College EDI and anti-oppression framework)

You must complete the diversity questionnaire on the General Application to be considered. Recipients will be notified by email if selected to receive this award.
