Shirley and Douglas Jones Skilled Trades Achievement Scholarships

Twenty scholarships are presented annually. Recipients must, at the time of selection:

• be currently enrolled full-time at Fanshawe College in level 2 of one of the following programs:
  o Aircraft Structural Repair Technician (Co-op)
  o Auto Body Repair Techniques
  o Aviation Technician – Aircraft Maintenance (Co-op)
  o Aviation Technician – Avionics Maintenance (Co-op)
  o Aviation Technology – Aircraft Maintenance & Avionics (Co-op)
  o Building Renovation Technology (Co-op)
  o Electrical Engineering Technician
  o Electrical Engineering Technology (Co-op)
  o Electrical Techniques
  o Electromechanical Engineering Technician (Co-op)
  o Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technician (Co-op)
  o Mechanical Engineering Technician-Industrial Maintenance
  o Mechanical Techniques
  o Plumbing Techniques
  o Renewable Energies Technician (Co-op)
  o Trades Fundamentals
  o Welding and Fabrication Technician (Co-op)
  o Welding Techniques – Kincardine
  o Welding Techniques – St Thomas
  o Welding Techniques – Simcoe
• have achieved the highest cumulative Grade Point Average to date
