General Dynamics Land Systems' Canada Indigenous Community Impact Award
One award will be presented in the 2025/26 academic year. Recipient must, at the time of application:
have achieved a cumulative Grade Point Average of at least 2.0
*self-identify as First Nation, Non-Status First Nation, Métis, and/or Inuit
*be a full-time student at Fanshawe College and enrolled in level two or above of one of the following programs:
o Business (Co-op)
o Business – Accounting (Co-op)
o Business – Finance (Co-op)
o Business – Human Resources
o Business – Marketing (Co-op)
o Business – Supply Chain and Operations (Co-Op)
o Business Management – Entrepreneurship
o Office Administration – Executive
o Computer Systems Technician
o Web Development and Internet Applications
o Welding and Fabrication Technician (Co-op)
o Computer Programming and Analysis (Co-op)
o Cyber Security (Co-op)
o Motive Power Technician (Diesel)
o Motive Power Technician (Automotive)
o Electrical Engineering Technology
o Electrical Engineering Technician
o Electromechanical Engineering Technician
o Honours Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting)
o Honours Bachelor of Commerce (Management)
o Honours Bachelor of Commerce (Human Resources Management)
Proof of identification required. For the First Nations students with Indian Status or Inuit awards, a government document will be required. For Metis students, a Metis Nation of Ontario card will be required. For First Nation non-status students, proof of lineage to a First Nation individual with Indian Status will be required.
You must complete the diversity questionnaire on the General Application and answer the supplemental question(s) below to be considered. Recipients will be notified by email if selected to receive this award.
