Dr. Leonard Reeves Entrance Award for Women in Skilled Trades
Three awards of up to $10,000 each and four awards of up to $5,000 each are presented annually. Each recipients must, at the time of application:
be a full-time domestic student at Fanshawe College and is entering one of the following programs:
- Aircraft Structural Repair Technician
- Auto Body Repair Techniques
- Carpentry and Renovation Techniques
- Electrical Techniques
- Plumbing Techniques
- Power Engineering Techniques – 4th Class
- Pre‐Technology
- Welding Techniques
- Aviation Technician – Aircraft Maintenance (Co-op)
- Aviation Technician – Avionics Maintenance (Co-op)
- Carpentry and Renovation Technician
- Construction Engineering Technician (Co-op)
- Electrical Engineering Technician
- Electromechanical Engineering Technician (Co‐op)
- Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technician (Coop)
- Manufacturing Engineering Technician
- Mechanical Engineering Technician ‐ CNC/CAM
- Mechanical Engineering Technician‐Industrial Maintenance
- Mechanical Technician – Tool and Die (Co-op)
- Motive Power Technician (Automotive)
- Motive Power Technician (Diesel)
- Renewable Energies Technician
- Welding and Fabrication Technician
have achieved a cumulative high school average of at least 70%
self-identify as a woman
