Dr. Leonard Reeves Entrance Award for Women in Skilled Trades
Three awards of up to $10,000 each and four awards of up to $5,000 each are presented annually. Each recipients must, at the time of application:
- be a full-time domestic student at Fanshawe College and is entering one of the following programs:
o Aircraft Structural Repair Technician
o Auto Body Repair Techniques
o Carpentry and Renovation Techniques
o Electrical Techniques
o Plumbing Techniques
o Power Engineering Techniques – 4th Class
o Pre‐Technology
o Welding Techniques
o Aviation Technician – Aircraft Maintenance (Co-op)
o Aviation Technician – Avionics Maintenance (Co-op)
o Carpentry and Renovation Technician
o Construction Engineering Technician (Co-op)
o Electrical Engineering Technician
o Electromechanical Engineering Technician (Co‐op)
o Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technician (Coop)
o Manufacturing Engineering Technician
o Mechanical Engineering Technician ‐ CNC/CAM
o Mechanical Engineering Technician‐Industrial Maintenance
o Mechanical Technician – Tool and Die (Co-op)
o Motive Power Technician (Automotive)
o Motive Power Technician (Diesel)
o Renewable Energies Technician
o Welding and Fabrication Technician - have achieved a cumulative high school average of at least 70%
- self-identify as a woman
