Alan J. Ross Leadership Award in Quantity Surveying by CIQS
One award is presented annually. Recipient must, at the time of selection:
- be a full-time, international or domestic student at Fanshawe College who has completed year 2 in the Construction Engineering Technology program
- demonstrated a strong understanding of quantity surveying and pursuing a career specifically in this field post-graduation
- exhibited professional leadership attributes and the ability to effectively collaborate with team members for successful outcomes in project work
- emulated the qualities possessed by Alan J. Ross, an instrumental figure in the early days of the quantity surveying profession in London, Ontario. These include, mentoring others, leading my example and exercising a positive “can-do” spirit in interactions with peers, professors and industry colleagues
- achieved a minimum ‘B’ grade in the most recent quantity surveying course
