Ontario Building Officials Association - Southwestern Chapter
The Southwestern Chapter of the OBOA is comprised of approximately 99 municipal building officials, engineers, and designers. Member municipalities and townships of the Southwest Chapter are from the area that extends from Woodstock, west to Sarnia, then south to Port Burwell and north to South Huron. The Southwestern Chapter prides itself on being the leading edge of education with all of their partners.
Impact
The Ontario Building Officials Association – Southwestern Chapter Award in Architectural Technology recognizes a student in Level 4 (fourth semester) of Fanshawe’s Architectural Technology program who demonstrates a consistent example of excellence in the building program with a desire to pursue employment in Building Inspection or a field that relies heavily on the Ontario Building Code.
