Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE)
The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) is a transnational organization with over 350,000 members in more than 160 countries working in the fields of electrical, electronics and computer engineering. The London Chapter, including a student branch at Fanshawe, is among 21 sections across Canada. IEEE Canada’s London Chapter established an award to promote student growth and interest in the sector.
Impact
The IEEE London Section Award is presented to student in either the Electrical Engineering Technology or Electrical Engineering Technician program who demonstrates the greatest success in the technical components of the program.
