In Memory of Tara Mundy

Fanshawe alumni Tara Mundy was known for her warmth, humour and ability to mentor her colleagues through creative collaboration and sharing of professional practices.

A talented graphic designer with a keen interest in her profession, Tara was one of the few designers in London recognized by the Registered Graphic Designers of Ontario.

Tara graduated from Fanshawe College’s graphic design program, then known as Advertising Arts. She was employed at The London Free Press before her appointment as senior designer at MMI Media Management. She later ran her own successful marketing firm, TMI Media.

In 2012, Tara returned to Fanshawe to obtain her certificate in Corporate Communications and Public Relations. She was extremely proud of her final creative role as Art Director at Lashbrook Marketing & PR in London.

Tara was married to Richard Hoffman, her partner of more than 10 years, and succumbed to breast cancer on May 4, 2016.
