In Memory of Stuart J. Bannister
This award has been established in memory of Stuart Bannister who tragically lost his life on June 13, 2008 at 29 years of age.
Stuart was a journeyman plumber who began his plumbing career with Atchison Plumbing & Heating Ltd. in 2002.
Stuart came to the plumbing industry looking for a job that would offer him the opportunity of advancement, financial security and personal satisfaction.
Atchison Plumbing had the honour of employing Stuart for six years, from his entrance into the apprenticeship system, obtaining his journeyman license and working his way up to a supervisory position.
Impact
Stuart always showed a quiet determination, pride of workmanship and dedication to the job. Atchison Plumbing is proud to honour Stuart’s memory by presenting this award to a student who has chosen to pursue a career in the plumbing industry.
