In Memory of Paramjit Singh Thukral
The Paramjit Singh Thukral Memorial Bursary was established by the wife and children of Paramjit Singh Thukral. Paramjit came to Canada in 1968 and overcame adversity in order to provide a good life for his wife and 4 children. He was a skilled tradesman, a loving husband and an amazing father. He was a kind and generous man with a smile so bright that could light up any room. Paramjit encouraged his children to continually pursue higher education and he would have been so proud to be able to support further education to others who demonstrate financial need.
Impact
Paramjit’s family established this bursary in memory of Paramjit to support students in the Civil Engineering Technology program. This memorial bursary supports full-time students demonstrating financial need, whom have achieved a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.5.
