In Memory of Jack Disley
The late Cornelia “Corrie” H. Disley established the Jack Disley award over 30 years ago in 1986, in memory of her husband Jack who passed away from cancer on August 10", 1986.
Jack was a great friend, and understanding teacher a tireless worker and a loving person. His outstanding characteristics will be long remembered. Jack always had time to listen and to offer a sympathetic ear to everyone’s problems, big or small. He could serve as a model for us all.
Impact
The Jack Disley Award is presented to a student who is entering the third year of Fanshawe’s Graphic Design program. The recipient must exhibit the important qualities associated with this award’s namesake: demonstrates a high degree of competence and standards of performance while being a friendly, helpful and self-disciplined individual.
