Impact
We are grateful to the late Larry Kinlin and Kierstin Kinlin for the establishment of this award.
This memorial award in her name comes as a result of the loving care received during the last three months of her struggle with breast cancer.
lrmie’s granddaughter, Kierstin Kinlin, a Fanshawe Nursing Student, provided this love and care on a daily basis during those final days. The nurses at Victoria Hospital were an inspiration to lrmie, Kierstin and all of us.
This Award recognizes the commitment of the Nursing Profession to patients and their needs.
lrmie died on May 20, 2006 and leaves a legacy of love and caring for everyone who knew her. She would be very proud of this gift to Fanshawe students.
