In Memory of Carol Eyre

Carol graduated from York University in 1987 with a BA (English and French) and then earned a Human Resources Management Post-Diploma with Honours from Seneca College in 1989. She also obtained her Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation.

Carol was born in Regina and grew up in Edmonton and various cities in Southern Ontario. Following her graduation, she moved to London which became her home. From a young age, Carol was passionate about helping others and was an active volunteer, a focus that stayed with her all of her life. Her volunteerism involved children, special needs individuals and community projects. She demanded the best from herself, especially in her professional life and her role as Human Resources Manager at London Children’s Connection.

Despite health issues and personal challenges, Carol was always known for her perpetual smile which left a lasting impression on those who had only met her once or were longtime friends and colleagues. Carol passed away in 2007 at the age of 42 from colon cancer.
