Brook Richardson, Garth Richardson and Kelly Richardson

Brook, Garth and Kelly Richards established the Jack and Shirley Richardson Award in in honour of their parents, Shirley and Jack.

Jack Richardson was a Juno Award-nominated record producer and Order of Canada recipient, best known for producing hit records for The Guess Who. He later became a professor at Fanshawe College’s Music Industry Arts program. He died in 2011.

Impact

The Jack and Shirley Richardson Award was established to recognize a second year student from Fanshawe’s MIA program who demonstrates commitment and dedication to excellence in all areas of the program.
